It was a chocoholic’s dream yesterday at the Aventura Mall Center Court located here in Florida. There was a showcase of decadent delicious chocolate morsels and a runway show featuring the latest in chocolate-inspired fashions. The runway show, which I got to walk in was featuring designs by students from my school the
Miami International University of Art & Design. All the students that participated in the contest poured their heart and soul to create their chocolate dress master piece. There was a short segment on the event shown on the late night news on Telemundo networks and other local news channels. Below is a picture of the gorgeous

Participants in Aventura Mall’s Chocolate Festival included: Chef Allen’s, Grand Lux Café, Schakolad Chocolate Factory, The Grateful Palate, Porto Vita, Fairmont Turnberry Isle Resort & Club, Turnberry Ocean Colony, Alisa’s Painted Bistro, Florida International University School of Hospitality, Chocolate 4 Charity, Nordstrom Café Bistro, Miami International University of Art & Design, Ocean Prime, We Take the Cake, Godiva, and Starbucks.
