Charles: When I was a kid I had a rock collection that I would keep under my bed. The trouble was that very few people ever got the chance to see all the cool things I had acquired over the years. As I began designing jewelry, it was my rock collection that originally inspired me to create new and unique pieces. By setting unusual stones created by nature into jewelry design, everyone could see and share in the joy of my treasured rocks.
Maytee: Who is your ideal customer?
Charles: My ideal customer is that customer who is enamored with the work we do and the stones we select for our pieces. It gives me great joy when people fall in love with one of our pieces; they can’t wait to put in on, and they never want to take it off.
Maytee: Who is the dream person to see wearing your jewelry?
Charles: As much as I truly appreciate and love seeing celebrities in my pieces, it gives me the greatest kick to see someone in a restaurant, a mall, or on the street wearing something I have created. It always puts a huge smile on my face.
Charles: I am inspired by so many things and trying to pinpoint anything specific is nearly impossible. I try to reflect positively on all the things that occur every day and then I draw inspiration from the world around me.
